Just because he is not plqying doesn't really count as rest, he is still part of this team when there is no game going on he is still dping things with the team. I'm not sure if that counts as 'rest'.
Playing a game does take its toll on you mentally and physically. What does rest mean? Sleep 24/7?
I know the travelling is a lot. But it's a part of the modern day cricketers life.
