How can we say that SL team is very ordinary? How can we say that our team is top class? We cant because this is U-19 cricket and people dont know much abt the players playing. You never know some of these U-19 SL players may turn out to be the next mathews, sanga or malinga.

Basically, lets not make a judgement without seeing the performance in our own eyes. Some stats will not give clear indication of a team's ability. Have we ever seen our boys bat much? Only saw glimpse of nur, asir and soumya and BPL and thats it, and they werent anything special.
We're not talking about this year. Obviously a 40 run hammering on a 200 wicket is a butt-whooping. Clearly, this SL team is either superior to ours, or good enough to beat us. But in years past, our U-19 team has dominated theirs.

Overall, our U-19 team has 73 wins and 39 losses. That is a great record in the sport of cricket. Versus SL they are 13-8, which shows clear superiority. Overall SL are 79-87. India, which prolly has the best team of all time has a 120-41 record. I think after India and Australia, Bangladesh has the 3rd best win percentage of U19 ODI teams.

The only teams who have better head to heads with us are India (10-1), Nepal (1-0), NZ (1-2), and SA (2-3). We have a even 5-5 record against powerhouse Pakistan.
