Ajfar, in USA, connections are usually a good thing, since this country is so big and people are trying their bestest best to popularize the game here, It is very popular in Florida and many states has their own leagues where you play with the hard ball and stuff, so having connections helps. With my current from + shape i don't even thing i can make it to a local club team. Once you start playing with the hard ball, it is serious business...and it is no longer backyard cricket.
