Shamim is colorful, exuberant, zesty and got tremendous command of English. What I hate is the typical OVERANATLYTICAL commentary esp. by sub-contental commentators describing : oh oh the ball came about 2/3rd and 1/4th of an inch from the toe's end of the of the bat, played from the back foot on the up coming to pitch of deliver....dude just shut up
I hate making commentary overlyanalytical technical jargon. Yes it's cricket. Yes it's a bunch of guy's sport. But one should have his own voice.
The guy you hit? If he got a look at the plates, it won't even take that long. There's no play here. There's no angle, there's no champagne room. I'm not a miracle worker, I'm a janitor. The math on this is simple; the smaller the mess, the easier it is for me to clean up.
