When he said "this is how I bat and sometimes it will be ugly" people jumped on him. Tamim is not a grafter. He will never face 300 balls in a Test like his brother or 400 like Sir Ash.
He needs to be told to do his thing, pure and simple.

it's not possible to play strokes or hit boundaries in some situation, specially when the opposition bowlers are bowling very well at you like Vitori/JArvis on 3rd ODI, he needs to rotate the strike to release some pressure, find gaps, take singles, avoid dot balls, that's all.
