We make cricketers the biggest celebrity in the country. Poor slum kid, who sells flowers for living, gives one to Shakib for free and in return asks him to hit 6 for us. In return we have not received much.
So yes, the cricket team has not repaid the love/affection/sacrifice of its millions of fans.
