That is a magnificent photograph of a Calotropis....Tagore has poem or song I believe about your Rokto Korobi....some people mistakes it for delonix regia aka Krishnochura of the Fabaceae family.....do you know Gopal both your and Tagore's Rokto Korobi and Krishnochura are all belong the rose family.

So khalamma likes La plantas....you should take her to the Southern Yucatan, it is relatively close to you and her, the plant species are very rich there and often similar and remind me of BD.
