Individually Taijul.

As a group its the management.
They made enough bold decisions to barely win this game. How often you see our management even try to make sporting wicket? even it turned out to be a mine field, but the intension was the the right and bold one.

How often do you see they bring two brand new spinners in a spinner friendly pitch instead of sticking with the old and play it safe with the excuse of experience?

Recently there was lot of pressure not to select Riyad. Not only they stayed with him, they promoted him in the batting order and they were rewarded.

Bringing back Shahadat was not a popular decision, but it worked out ok for this game. Shahadat was not spectacular, be he did enough as a supporting role.
Not all was honky dory.

Selecting Shamsu and Hom was not a popular choice. Also popularity of Tamim is fading fast. They stayed with all of these three and pretty much it all of them failed. I am ok with that as long as they make some bold decision in 2nd test i.e. they tweak a bit... they cannot keep all three. Also I am not sure who they should have tried instead of these three. So from that aspect I can give them a free pass as long as they don't bring all three in 2nd TEST. They substitute player fail, that's ok...its better to try something new and fail than not do anything new and fail again.

I don't expect the management will make all the right choices or in a way make all fan favorite choices.... but I expect them to make some bold choices when its clear that status quo is not good enough for the team. Recently the management is exactly doing that.... making some bold and risky choices with some hits and some misses. I am 100% ok with that. Even though it was not my choice of 11 players, I can live with that as long as I see they make some bold choices .... that's what they are supposed to do... they are supposed to know their talent pool better than the fans (i.e. us) and they are supposed to give some break to some relatively unknown/young players (to the fans) some chance based on risk-reward analysis and team's need.

So individually its Taijul, collectively its the management who deserve some credit.
