As a user you people should already realise which person is a one-line specialist and who isnt. no?
Although, we as moderators, discourage people from making content free posts, we cannot always delete or penalize users for making such posts.
Fazal's 3rd idea will be very difficult to implement as we cannot clearly define which one-liner is playing by the rules and which isnt.
The elite members will always stand out from heavy spamming users there is no doubt about that. A user is respected and recognized by how he presents his views in his posts and he will be respected regardless of what his user rank or his post number is.
I know I drifted off-topic somewhat. But to sum it up... we dont want to enforce any such system that will lead to inhibition of posting from our members. We have to take the bad with the good and we are happy to admit that the good to bad ratio is still substantially high. We will deal with the issue on a case by case basis and will hope for the cooperation of our members.
