Hes in the Barisal Bulls squad but he is most likely on a more bottom tier contract. He is a top order batsmen who bowls part time spin. Me saying hes in the BPL squad doesnt mean he is guaranteed games rather he is there to gain experience playing and training alongside national players. All BPL teams have low paid contracted youngsters in their squads. Like im sure someone like Pranto Sarkar who is BD u16 player is also in the squad in one of the BPL teams. Doesnt necessarily mean he is going to play matches as such.

Taskin Ahmed was in the first edition BPL squad with Chittagong Kings before he made his proper debut in BPL2, but he wasn't officially announced that he was a squad member in BPL1 rather he trained with the players and developed his game with national players. Management do this to give the youngsters exposure etc and they also do this with players who they think have a lot of potential in the future.

Atm Tahmid's game is probably a step down from Bangladesh state level cricket but he is probably going to be a regular in BD state level cricket in the not too distant future in Shaa Allah (i.e. Dhaka Metro, Chittagong etc.). Like he has already made a name for himself here in Sydney Grade level cricket. He made his first grade NSW level debut at the age of 16 with Doug Bollinger bowling to him LOL.

Like think abt it he has already trained with the likes of Mushfiqur, Sabbir, Taskin, Tamim, Shakib, Mominul etc. for over a month. Hes personal friends with Taskin and Mosaddek. The amount of things he is learning and taking in by spending time with all these national players is massive and so vital in terms of developing his cricket.
