India has been investing heavily in its pace bowling since 1987, when they got Dennis Lillee, formed MRF Pace Foundation.
But probably for the first time, they have a heck of a pace bowling unit. Bhuvanesh, Yadav, Bumrah, Shami. All 140+, all good with new ball, old ball, death bowling. You can even add Pandya to the list who too can reach 140, pick wickets in crucial times.
The way we were bundled out in the warmup was no accident, it was bowling of the highest quality. New Zealand also suffered the same a few days ago.
