But I had predicted this more than 5 years ago when I said there was no real reason to play test cricket. Now funnily enough, since then I have come to appreciate and respect test cricket more. Yeah you were onto this, something I started to really believe in the last year or so.
Question for fans? Even if they are the best, do you really want a player representing your country if they aren’t giving their best (and imo giving your best is more than just giving your best in a match, it’s the whole thing eg preparation, professionalism etc)
