He is the one who spotted Mash and groomed him had specific regime set up for him, ordered BCB not to over use him. What did BCB do? called up Mash early, played him until he could not play anymore (uver used him), broke down. Andy Roberts has agreed again to service us. This time we should listen to his advice. he also spotted Talha and other prospects.
Akram is happy in commentating games making alot of money and traveling. he will not even considered us with the salary offer we will have. The best he can give is a month or so in his off season. That would not be a permanent solution. So this would be a waste of time for the BCB officials to chase him around for his service. Unless BCB officials have other agenda like, personal shopping spree in the countries Akram would be making stops. i would rather take Simon Jones (while he is injured and cannot service England) and get him for a month. He does not have a big head on his shoulder like Akram. And he seems to be a good teacher. Ask the Aussies.
