Our batting is the main problem now. With 2 inexperienced quick bowlers we did well but it was the lowest score of 86 which suggests that changes should be imminent. I am not sure whether Dav can teach our players to bat ... because he was not a master batsman himself and he is more of a facilitator and strategist rather than being a specialist batsman.
Subcontinent pitches have low bounce and our batsmen struggled but it was the spinners not the pacers that did the damage.
So i am not sure what Dav could do about it because he is not a specialist batting coach.
We do need a bowling coach but that's a luxury .... we must resolve the defficiency in our batting first and then we will score above 86 everytime we go out to bat.
