From Round 2 :

Al Sahariar was out handled the ball, probably the first such incident in Bangladesh fcc. Cricinfo merely says this : "When play resumed, things got worse as Mohammad Al-Sahariar (35) was dismissed in a freaky manner. He was adjudged to have handled the ball after he completely missed a delivery from Yasin Arafat, the offspinner."

Habibul Bashar completed 3000 first class runs when he reached 6 in his innings of 28 for Khulna v Barisal. This was his 47th first class match.

Minhajul Abedin scored 2 & 10 for Chittagong is well on the way down. He now has a career average of 52.06, still the best by a Bangladeshi. But in Feb 2002,
his average was 65.41

Yasin Arafat took 7 wickets for Chittagong to take his career aggregate to 16 in two matches.

Sylhet won after getting out for 102 in the first innings. This is the lowest innings score made by a winning team. The margin of 13 runs might be the smallest, not sure.

Tapash Baisya finally completed 50 wickets in the 27th match of his career.

Bangladesh A v DHA

Bidyut batted for 469 minutes, faced 352 balls and hit 36 fours. The 36 fours is the most hit in an innings bettering 28 by Bashar and Imran Farhat.

78 extras conceded by DHA is easily a record in matches involving Bangladesh teams.

Hossain scored 176 in a day which is an improvement upon Ashraful's 157. Imran Farhat, though, scored 195* in a day while playing for Biman in 2000-01.

Bidyut has now scored 664 runs in first class matches with three hundreds and no fifties. Infact he has never been dismissed between 28 and 133, though he has a 121*. His last four innings preceding the 218 were 0, 1*, 1 and 6
