Saddam was charged for killing 142 Shias back in 1982. That had nothing to do with Western intervention. However, if the trial went further, he can be tried for invading Kuwait. Thats where Bush's daddy comes in. Most of what Saddam used to invade Kuwait came from Bush's daddy when he armed Saddam against the war on Iran.
But anyway, everyone knows Bush daddy-son's role in Iraq since Iraq-Iran war. Its nothing new. Implicating western leaders won't achieve anything more than a few percent drop in popularity polls. Forget about achieving justice.
