It was decided long before that Australia would play in Antigua and SA in Guyana, as long both teams qualified for super-8, regardless what was the result in the match between them. Mr Skinner here is just being ignorant.

We wanted tickets to the super 8 stage and needed to organise accommodation, flights etc well in advance. So we took a gamble on Australia beating South Africa & organised to be in Antigua. If Australia had lost, they would be playing in Guyana....miles away. Pity the poor South Africans who paid a lot of money to be in Antigua only to watch Australia play, not South Africa. Thats my 2 cents worth!"
