and to bring the purpose of this thread back.... I just learned about Siddika Kabir, the other lady in the show with Sharmin.....apparently she has a MA degree in Food and Nutrition from Oklahoma State Univ, and is currently the consultant of NESTLE bangladesh limited. Also published several culinary books and receipes. Isn't this amazing? I mean she's an old lady now....but she did her upper studies in culinary arts from an American university so many years ago...when there were hardly any South Asian
