He was a personal friend of me being a mixed Bengali/Canadian/Czech etc. he had a keen interest in religion and social science and he was a student of psychology. He was interested in all sort of political malfunction and ethical issues, and got beaten by his wife for spending too much time in BC, but not sure if he was interested in socialism/communism though.
