I remember when I was in 4th grade there were talks, albeit on a light note of sending me to a cadet college. I was not at all interested to leave the comforts of home and my mom did not want to see her son live away from home either. The idea died a natural death. Later on I felt that cadet colleges are a very good source of education for boys who are a bit unruly. (disclaimer: does not imply that the ones who studied in a CC were necesarrily unruly, so hope no CC student jumps on this line).
