if we had a rock solid middle and tail order, which we may yet have with the continued develpment of rajin, ash, mushfiq, among others and rafique and mashud at the tail, then make shift openers wouldnt be a problem. even if we lost 2 wickets for 20 (like Zim ODI 3) we could still post around 250 and win. BD's bowling and fielding is what kept them in today's game. this is a very good sign...however on the flip side i thought this was the strongest batting lineup we had and look at the result. because WI scored at under 3 an over for most of the game...it was the pitch's fault mostly. but still with the shots we played on a good wicket we prolly wouldnt have gotten 200.
