Tamim is almost a shoe in for the first test match. I am curious to see how he reacts to three slips and wide space in front of his eyes. People think in test matches, single don't matter much. Wrong. Rotating strike is a big thing in test cricket nowadays and unable to rotate strikes put additional pressure on a batsman when he can't find boundaries. Just look at the India-Aus test. Indian batsmen put additional pressure on themselves when they couldn't find singles. Aussies on the other hand found one with ease. Its a issue with our whole team, not only Tamim. Other than Ash and Aftab, noone is willing and confident enough to take a cheeky single once in a while.
