I used to have norton (2005 version) but in January I got free upgrade to 2008. Any way once I choose to do that It stopped working and it wont let me uninstall either. I had no choice but to Install alternative (McAfee). I am still trying to get rid off Norton from my sytem. I have sent message to symantec software with no reply.I now class
Norton as a Virus 
not Anti-Virus as it should be.
