Gone those days when we had Bulbul,Akram,Nannu cemented thier place in the middle order. For a long long time in BD national team, it was unthinkable to have anybody else in that middle order.
And havent they served us good?
I think thats where it made the difference. Even though our team of the 90's era didnot win many matches or was not up to the task, they played with thier abilities and serves to the best of thier mark.
What the current team badly lacks is a leadership role. Someone to look upto.
Unfortunately for us, we have none.
A bunch of early 20 something themselves, they have no one to turn to when it matters the most.
Back in the days...they had plenty.
