Not a shade of doubt, we are in the test map today, primarily because of them.

It's true that they had limited abilities, but their commitment, produced much better output than they were capable of. They really over performed.

May be we needed a senior player in the leadership role. Like Ranatunga in the relatively young Sri team, while they won the world cup. Unfortunately we don't have even one like him. Bashar was in a position to take that role, but his performance graph was so consistantly low, that it could affect the team adversely, if all these irresponsibility have not increased at his last leg. it's beyond comprehension, how can all players of an era, be so irresponsible that we even don't have a choice of leadership, be it young or old.
