Default The 249 against India

This article says in 1 point that in the last Asia Cup in 2000, Bangladesh scored 249 against India. Whereas this time, Bangladesh did not even reach 200.

I think I read it on Prothom Alo and/or Daily Star before.

Those journalists who write in bengali, they have this fact quite wrong. It was a poor Indian bowling attack (more like an India A side's bowling attack) and our batsman (i.e., Akram Khan) had just used the opportunity to smash them. Which only proves that our batsman at those times were better than an India 'A' side, that's all. (And I wouldn't burst into pride if I see that we were only marginally ahead of the 'A' team of a test playing nation).

However, all other times, we could never reach 200 against India because in those other times, India played their best bowling attack.
