Extremely sad news. What is sadder, the world is full of people like these. Every now and then a newspaper article in Bangladesh pops up with the news of torture on housemaids. At least this poor boy survived this ordeal, many of these poor children don't. I believe we in Bangladesh have grown hearts made of stone, or maybe got too busy with our little nitpicks to even acknowledge or remedy these. I can point to numerous articles like that, I won't. Whats the point anyway? You'll see much more gross and violent torture. At least these people are terrorists and kidnappers. The one's in our country range from respected educated elite to middle class petty people to low income people, all similar in their cruelty to children, each trying to take it to a new degree. And others are not really falling behind.See this wiki page on abu gharib, you'll find numerous cases of abuse on minors, be warned that it contains graphic pictures. On nazis, nothing is needed to be said, but if you need some more reading, see this page on their treatment of children. Whats more saddening, Israel does seem to have a chronic case of amnesia; their treatment of Palestinian children was exposed by one of their soldiers on BBC a short while ago, and it made me cringe.
