I agree with most of the things said in here.
But, I would like to emphasize one fact. If you think about the Mostofa kamal incident, or this past Mash incident (I am a mash fan too, but I can't forget the fact that he DID complain about Shakib; he specifically mentioned, "shouldn't a captain welcome me personally"; he also didn't pick up Shakib's call and said Shakib should have consulted him before dropping him), Shakib is not treated like a captian by the senior members / by the board. This should not happen. A leader should have to power to inquiery after a player who doesn't attend practice sessions, regardless of his age.
I think giving captain Shakib his due respect will only do good for Bangladesh and reduce any chances of chaos/indiscipline in the future.
Also, I think Shakib's professionalism on and off the field is really having a good influence over the younger players.
I truly believe he is the best thing that has happened to Bangladesh cricket so far.
