Well, as I am sure you have learned by now from our posts in this forum, both Ian and myself are extremely passionate about developing players and helping them achieve their potential. This is why we go to work each day, contrary to one or two posters on BC we do not view these jobs as simply 9-5 work. We deal with people, and people are all different, thats the challenge of coaching. Oh and in answer to another post regarding this back room staff being one of the highest paid in the world, I can assure you, if we are . . its news to us !
This world cup has been a roller coaster for all concerned. Now its over, its time to assess the good, the bad & the downright ugly and LEARN FROM IT !!! Unless a child learns that fire is hot and burns, it will continue to play with it, and continue to risk injury or death. The morale of the story, if you make mistakes in life, you need to first of all recognise what they are, then take ownership of them (& not blame everything & everyone else) and then rectify whatever the problem is. Its not rocket science, really its not !
