Mehedi is overrated. His bowling is nothing special. His batting has so many weaknesses. You have to go in with 5 specialist bowlers – only way to reduce the runs. Those part time bowlers of ours are not good enough to bowl up to 10 overs.

I don't care about Shabbir's batting record. The fact is that he is a attacking batsman, and a great fielder. It's the job of Tamim, Sarker, Mushfiqur, Shakib...to score the bulk of the runs. Our batting may not be at the level of Australia, India or England, but we got bowlers such as Fizz to make up for the runs we are unable to score. Fizz shouldn't bowl no more than 4 overs within the first 10 overs.

My XI throughout this series should be: Tamim, Sarker, Shabbir, Mushfiqur, Shakib, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek, Mehedi, Mashrafe, Taskin and Fizz. I put Mehedi just to see how he goes with the ball, but ideally Nurul due to his keeping skills. It's that 5th bowler which is the problem.

For the Champions Trophy, the XI should be: Tamim, Sarker, Shabbir, Mushfiqur, Shakib, Mosaddek, Nurul, Mehedi/Roy, Mashrafe, Taskin and Fizz.
