Yes, that is true if we are talking happiness at individual levels. However, who is to say and verify those managers with home management are happy?

At larger extent, to prosper as a nation, would you like to think about the following:

-How a country can prosper leaving almost half of the population out of work?

-How a country can have a proper welfare, and security system/mechanism in order to assist poor and vulnerable, and ensure citizen’s safety in public life?
If government needs funds for such services, how it can be achieved?

-How one can consider a life is happy and joyful despite being deprived of autonomy/independence, social welfare, proper healthcare, security, etc.?

You can argue that acceptance of “deprived life” is happiness.
