Absolutely. A mentor for this young team is crucial, it would have been tremendous is someone like Raijb Saleh, Hannan Sarker, Tushar Imran, Al Shahriar or even Nafees Iqbal could stay with this team to just guide the younger players. But sadly, the expiration age seems to be 26 for Bangladeshi cricketers, hope players like Shakib/Tamim can stick with the team for another 10 years and support the young ones.
Also, no one but the players can be blamed for getting out of the team early. The only players who were able to keep their game going at a later stage of their career were Bashar, Rafique, Pilot. Though the latter was sort of forced out, the formers got the chance to go through their whole cricketing cycle.
