I have a principle regarding sports: If a player does not want to be there in the game, do not let him be there, no matter how big a sports star he is. Otherwise the team has already taken a step towards losing. Speaking from experience.

Without having that spirit it's not possible to follow BD cricket for long, Have been heart broken so many times that it doesn't hurt too much after we lose
I won't be as disappointed after a loss if our players played to win and fought until the last moment but they rarely seem to do that.
