Shourobh's generation has better technique and comparatively speaking, temperament. Richard McInnes during the course of his lunch with us (Zunaid, Rabiul and myself) attested to the better technique also. Local coaching has something to do with that but the fact that younger kids higher expecations of themselves is the key IMO. That makes them more serious and focused on becoming a world class, not BD class professional. Some of them no longer wanna be as good as Nannu, Athar, Akram, Bulbul, HaBa or Rokon, but as good as Clarke, Mahela, Sanga, Amla, ABD or Kohli. They also have better local players like Shakib, Tamim and Mushfiq to look up to.

Shubhagoto isn't their generation by age, but he's a latecomer (discovered by Fahim Muntasir during a Khyap match in Mymensingh) and a total outsider, outside the BKSP system, who plays with that bunch with Fazle Rabbi and has the same mindset.
