Default Test Cricket World Cup ?!?!

Just a funny idea I've had.

We all know about the existence of a ODI cricket world cup, so what about a Test Cricket World Cup?

It should be played every four year, maybe the year after the ODI World Cup, and it should last stg like 45/50 days.

As you have only ten test sides there would not be qualifiers, and there should be two round robin groups like this:

Group A:
Australia
India
Sri Lanka
New Zealand
Bangladesh

Group B:
England
Pakistan
South Africa
West Indies
Zimbabwe

So each team would play four matches and should be allowed two free days between the end of a match end the beginning of the next.

Then you would have semifinals (A1-B2 and A2-B1) and the final. There could also be semifinals to decide 5th to 8th position and a 9th-10th place final to be played between last team of each group (in this way each match of first stage of the tournament would be competitive).

Another formula of the tournament could be similar to the 2007 World Cup: four groups of four teams, but no "super eight" after that (the tournament would get too long and tiring for the players) but exciting quarter-finals, semifinals and the final.
In this way you would give the associates a chance to face the best teams in the most prestigious version of the game, although not having test status.

Pros:
- Great fun for the fans, I think a Test Cricket World Cup would be more passionating than the ODI one.
- Best cricketers would have a chance to prove them all each other, and this would make the competition really exciting.

Cons:
- The test series could lose some importance....?
- The ODI World Cup would probably turn less significant....?

What do you think of that? Would that be possible?
