Well, this year has been really harsh on the players. They have spent 35 days on the ground ONLY in international games, add to that 15-20 days spent in domestic league, which means they have spent over 50 days this year just playing games. Add to that 4-5 hour training sessions with the national team for another 25 days. And then another 5 days for domestic practice. That is 85 days just practicing, plus they have traveled to New Zealand, and then to Sharjah. Thats around 90 days related to cricket within the 117 days past this year.
And then our boys have a very long England tour coming up, just because we don't play 5 match series doesn't mean we play less games.
I know they are professionals, but they are bound to run out of steam at some point, I hope BCB realizes that.
