What I look forward to in Dhaka is the subtle deshi flavors you can get nowhere else.

A big part of my Dhaka routine is paya and rumali ruti breakfast at Star or Dhansiri. Or kihichuri with beef from that place in Lalmatia (darn it, forgot the name). Or biriani's galore - particularly kachhi as that is a Bengal classic. And of course, fish, fish, and more fish. However, with all the formalin scares and over fishing this has become more difficult.
