Could have just said 1 Point for each wicket/every 10 runs......
But what's the use of such points, while you can work on averages, which is more accurate than your this point system....Because it also considers NO and Runs Conceded....
and you also need many more factors to rate a player accurately....and there is a Player ranking system of ICC...
I think this point system is basically pointless....
