the current anthem doesn't do anything for me...call me a apatriotic. i'd, personally have no problems with a more "islamic" anthem (i'd love it)...but the current one is not exactly anti-islamic either; its pretty secular judging from english translations of it.

however, at this point, there are far more important things than having an "islamic" anthem whilst maintaining a nation which is just as un-islamic as any other nation, be it non-muslim or muslim.

just cuz pakistan has the word islamic on its official name means nothing.

people, beggining with myself, need to worry about their personal life and bringing that into accordance with the quran and sunnah before thinking about changing the anthem or introducing shariah law.
