Default Pakistan unveils two wildcards!

Well folks, just when you thought it was safe to turn on the tv, your worst fears have come true. In what would seem like a stroke of genius -enough to keep the sports historian busy for the remaining decades- Pakistan have unveiled two wildcards who can heavily influence the outcome of the match.

The younger of the duo is a 45 year old import. Born August 28, 1964, he is a versatile left-handed batsman and right arm medium bowler. He has 5076 runs under his first class belt at an average of 36.25, and took 123 first class wickets at 41.40. He is chiefly known for his crucial wicket taking genius which has stymied the opponents numerous times. Although his best bowling figure is 4/56 and 4/30 he can play pivotal innings by single handedly turning the game around his quick thinking and intends to capitalize on it in the upcoming T20.

On the other side of the coin, this more elder and mature 54 year old sub-continent player was born on March 28, 1956. Left handed batsman and a superb bowler of leg break googly and has previous encounters with the Tigers, whose victory he seamlessly thwarted. He played 10 Tests and 28 ODIs and has made impressions in the critics mind for his aggressive, relentless wicktaking attitude.

Pakistan are hopeful these two last minute additions will greatly swivel the outcomes of the upcoming match against Bangladesh. A spokeman for the team, who shall remain unnamed mentioned that these two veterans have the uncanny abilities to manufacture win out of thin air, even if the opposition tends to be on top till the last minute of the innings.

Whether the duo will continue playing for the team is not verified, but at any rate it seems that the Tigers are between Scylla and Charybdis.
