honestly, i think mitchell johnson and michael clarke showed some guts and patriotism by neglecting crappy IPL and prefering their own country, thats called patriotism
the reason players can't sign IPL contract boards permission is because they are under contract from that board. but if the board is too pushy about it some players will have no problem's resigning and then just playing IPL. and why shouldn't they? they can play for a season and make all the money they want and relax for the rest of the year. different players have different choice so its up to them to choose what they do with their talent.
