Nasir Hossain: While its Anamul and Mominul who are hogging the hype headlines it is Nasir who is quietly getting the job done. One of Bangladesh's latest finds, Nasir Hossain could very well become another Shakib Al Hasan in terms of importance to the Bangladeshi team. At the raw age of 20, Nasir has shown a lot of maturity and has already had quite a bit of success averaging over 40 in both ODI's and Tests. Nasir plays with so much ease and confidence, it seems like he has been doing it for years. He can change his tempo according to the situation, as we saw in the Asia Cup. Another impressive facet is his ability to keep cool and hold his nerve in difficult situations. He usually doesn't show much fear and is able to spend time on the crease like we saw against West Indies in the recent test series. He can rotate the strike well and can use the long handle if required. If he keeps working on his batting he could be just the guy we have been looking for. However the team management also needs to realize he is a specialist batsman, not an all rounder. They also need to have faith in him and allow him to bat higher up the order so that he no longer only needs to fight with the tail. Or maybe our management is thinking we shouldn't promote him, because who will rescue us from number 7!
Prediction: Bangladesh's 'Mr. Cool' could very well be our solution for number 4. Talent is one thing, ability to execute is another. Nasir has shown both in all three formats of the game. He will give us much needed stability at our top order and is probably our best option for the anchorman role.
Watching Nasir carefully for few days. Yes this guy is improving in all format. He was first included in the team as 12th man for his fielding ability, he used every chances he got to prove himself. I am also hopeful about him.

Good work zeeshan vai.
