It can't be someone who is/was not part of the IPL. He's not relevant. Also, a bookie would be a major tard to ask someone like, i.e Imrul Kayes living in BD, who was busy saying hi to Virat Kohli on twitter, to give some info about the IPL.
Whether the reports are true or just rumors, it's not that difficult to figure out who they are
talking about. It's funny and annoying how some of you lose focus when you get all emotional. "Delete this thread!!" -- like that will make it all go away. "Ban the guy who opened such thread!" -- as if he wrote the reports.
