sangakkara isn't an explosive batsman but he's done well even when he was keeping, the thing is BD might be better off playing rahim as a specialist batsman in tests and have someone else keep wicket because he should be batting top 6 but in tests that's hard for a keeper to do. as for one-day cricket, rahim could bat top 6 but the thing is i'd have all of the allrounders above him and that means he needs to be explosive which he isn't, problem is he really struggles batting top 3 and they are the only top 6 spots open atm in ODIs.

now for mithun, haven't seen him bat but if you look at his strike rates and the amount of boundaries he gets then he does look like an explosive batsman, personally i prefer the ashraful/aftab type of exlposiveness to tamim's, tamim is still quite hit and miss (in an ugly way) and i wouldn't quite put him in the league of ashraful's and aftab's hitting ability. ashraful and aftab have really good hitting ability, they just struggle with other things, hopefully mithun has their hitting ability but knows how to build an innings consistently.
