Sarkar like Sabbir is very talented but neither have had good consistent domestic scoring so if they have a good run of scoring with the national team it can be considered a purple patch but unless they maintain a decent level of consistency when out of form then we can assume these types of players are only worth selecting when in form and when out of form they're not worth selecting. Hence domestic consistency becomes a very important tool for selection and something these players should think about seriously if they want consistent selection with the national team.
