Actually, so many times players make these remarks. Just before Australia tour began in 2003-2004, Aussies promised shin music for Ganguly. Ganguly went on to make a 100 in the very first game. India dominated the series, nearly won it. It is up to the teams how you deal with these comments. Some teams get fired up and perform well. Others get upset and lose the plot.
