Why Nasir is not playing in the national team?

It has nothing to do with the selectors. He is selected in the national team. It must be the coach (and the Captain) who is ignoring Nasir.


As an outsider, we see Nasir is ignored and we raise the question based on what we have seen him doing in the past in the national team. But we fail to notice that currently "Nasir" is not a "must have" in the team and for him to be noticed by the coach, he need to do the following:
- (A) Impress the coach in the practice with his hard work and dedication.
- (B) Recent outstanding performance (in this case BPL) outside national team.

We know he failed in (B). May be he failed in (A) also. There are too many things that happens outside the real game and behind our eyes that its impossible of us to understand the real issues with a player. We need to trust our coach and his judgment.

Having said that, its not end of the road for him. there is obviously opening for him in the team, and the selectors are not ignoring him.

May be all he need is to work a little bit harder to impress the coach. It can turn out to be a Win-Win proposition for both: him and the team in future.

So nasir should not give up hope... just work hard. We all know what he is capable of... he just need to work a little bit harder. he need to out perform Hom and Mithun in the practice... that's all.
