Doli Akhtar didn't do much better either - she was 61st among 73 swimmers.

While I wasn't expecting any one of them to do any better, i'm still saddened by the shamelessness and cluelessness of our athletes and officials. We sent 8 officials with 4 athletes, but didn't send a single coach. Its quite evident that most of these 'officials' aren't even qualified to be an official and it's just a 'promod bhromon' for them. Yesterday I read an article on BangladesherKhela that Doli Akhtar was getting weak because she couldn't eat rice at Athens (because there wasn't any). What the heck was that all about ? Were they seriously expecting the greeks to provide 'bhaat' and 'tangra machcher jhol' for the bd athletes ? As athletes that represent our country in international meets, they should be accustomed to not eating rice everyday, and if they absolutely can't, should be able to provide food for themselves.

What a joke.
