I trade on and off in the Australian Stock Exchange through Commsec. What major rip offs: each trade costs $21.9. I need to cover my long position with a put option on one of my stocks. The option costs $2.12, but commissions+charges comes to $37 each way on buying the option, and then excercising it later. And, Dont even get me started on the paperwork!

I have been using tradeking to buy stocks available on DOW and Nasdaq for a while, they have been really good so far. There customer service has been really good as well.
If you decide on tradeking, I will send you an invite... and i will get some cash for the invite.
