Angry The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

This is a season of Good, Bad and Ugly. We have seen it all. The Good were the Lankans, Bad were the English and the ugly were the BDs. The English let one drop off their finger tips by missing the slip catches. Ego of new captain got best of him. He kept on bowling while utterly ineffective. On the other hand, SL produced a memorable second innings. They provided a lesson to learn from. I hope our young Bangladeshi batsmen were watching. This could be good training video. Their top order roared, the tail wagged, the middle rippled. The Lankans never did count themselves out. In the end the English attack was rendered very ordinary on a 5th day wicket. The innings of Vass was a shining example of control and poise. I have not seen any BD batsmen batted with this much of determination. In a similar situation our batsmen would have hooked, pulled, slashed and heaved their way back to the pavilion by the fourth day.

When will our days of redemption come?
